Apprenticeships combine a real job with training to allow you to earn as you learn. As an apprentice, you hold the status of an employee with an employment contract. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will possess the necessary skills and expertise relevant to your desired profession.

The duration of an apprenticeship varies based on the chosen program, its level, and your prior experience, typically ranging from one to six years. Funding for apprenticeships is derived from both government contributions and employer contributions.

Bootcamps have been created for those who do not qualify for our current Skills Bootcamps, allowing the opportunity to partake in programmes with identical resource and content allocation as Skills Bootcamps, with some added benefits.

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible programmes of up to 16 weeks which provides individuals with the opportunity to build in-demand sector-specific skills. They are primarily aimed at delivering flexible training at levels 3-5 and level 2 in some sectors. This training is for adults who are either employed, self-employed, unemployed or returning to work after a break.

On completing the programme, you will be guaranteed a job interview, or you can progress to an Apprenticeship. During the programme, you will also receive employability training to increase your chances of finding a job.

Most of the Skills Bootcamps we offer do not require any previous knowledge. However, we need you to hold a confident grasp of the English language and be willing to put in the time and effort to grasp the skills you are learning during the Skills Bootcamp.

Eligibility

You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:

• 19+ years old
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Live in England
• Meet residency requirements (specific to each programme)
• Be able to commit to the entirety of the Skills Bootcamp duration
• Must not be an international student
