We are Purple Beard, an EdTech company on a mission to disrupt the tech sector with challenging, engaging and highly selective learning experiences that are developed and led by industry experts to create employable tech talent and bridge the diversity gap in the tech sector.

The pandemic has caused an acceleration in long-expected changes to the economy, causing turbulence to many businesses that were not ready to undertake such a transition just yet. In order to navigate through those unpredictable landscape shifts, businesses across the UK must be ready to meet the demand to reshape and transition themselves.

Purple Beard Training is committed to rebuilding post-covid world through helping the businesses with their digital transformation, rebuilding and protecting jobs, and offering high-quality tech skills training that will equip the UK with the necessary digital skills.

We’re currently working with the public and private sectors, taking actions at local and regional levels to tackle digital skills shortages as a part of the Government’s Plan for Jobs scheme to support the UK’s economic recovery.

We offer digital transformation and technical skills training for organisations across the UK through our Apprenticeship Training for Levy and Non-Levy Employers, Skills Bootcamps, Online Courses and Bespoke Solutions for businesses.

INDIVIDUALS

We help individuals with their professional development in tech by helping them to Become an Apprentice in a number of digital specialisms, Online Courses and the Government-funded Skills Bootcamps.

SKILLS BOOTCAMPS

Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with a local employer. They’re funded by the Government and are developed as a part of the Plan for Jobs skills and employment programme.

APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROVIDER

As an Apprenticeship Training Provider, we help Businesses to Hire Apprentices and Individuals to Become an Apprentice. We are the Main provider on ROATP and offer Apprenticeships in a range of tech areas for public and private sector employers. Based on your organisation needs and requirements, we can help you find and develop a motivated, skilled, and qualified talent for your workforce.

We believe that apprenticeship is a partnership between the employer, the training provider and the apprentice, and that all sides can hugely benefit from each other if mutual cooperation is taking place.

OUR APPRENTICESHIPS

Purple Beard Training specializes in Tech Apprenticeships and currently offers 10 Apprenticeships such as DevOps Engineer Level 4, Software Tester Level 4, Digital Community Manager Level 4 and more (you can find the full list when clicking on the buttons above Hire/Become an Apprentice).

Junior Content Producer
Level 3

15 to 18 months duration

A Junior Content Producer Apprenticeship is responsible for developing and creating content that can be used across a variety of media including digital, social media, broadcast or in print.

IT Technical Salesperson
Level 3

12 to 15 months duration

The primary role of an IT Technical Salesperson Apprenticeship is to sell the companies technical products and services. They will need a good knowledge and understanding of the portfolio of technologies that are available.

20 to 24 months duration

The broad purpose of the Data Technician Apprenticeship is to source, format and present data securely in a relevant way for analysis using basic methods; to communicate outcomes appropriate to the audience.
